Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area is 30 minutes from most Henderson and Summerlin properties — ideal for hiking, climbing, and photography. Lake Mead is 30 minutes east. Valley of Fire State Park is under an hour away.

Grand Canyon South Rim is a 4-hour drive (or 45-minute helicopter ride). Hoover Dam is 45 minutes. Zion National Park in Utah is under 3 hours. Las Vegas is an exceptional base camp for Southwest exploration.
